Kaputaj Plajı

Kaputaş Beach is a world-famous canyon-mouth beach located between Kaş and Kalkan. With its turquoise waters and golden sands, it is considered one of the most iconic spots in Türkiye.

Location & Access
Location: Approximately 20 km from Kaş and 7 km from Kalkan.
Access: To reach the beach from the road, you need to descend around 187 steps.
Parking: Parking along the roadside is very limited; it is recommended to arrive early, especially in summer.

Beach Features & Facilities
Sea Conditions: The water is cool due to underground springs mixing with the sea. It can be wavy and suddenly deep.
Facilities: Operated by Kaş Municipality, the beach offers a café, changing cabins, showers, and restrooms.
Fees (Estimated 2025): Entrance ~50 TL per person; sunbed and umbrella rental ~230 TL each.

Visitor Tips
Best Time: Arrive before 09:00 to avoid crowds and find parking easily.
Comfort: The seabed can be pebbly; sea shoes are recommended.
Safety: Be cautious on wavy days, especially for children and non-swimmers.
